Seraphim: (plural for seraph) The highest order of angels – the angels
of love, of light & of fire. They have the qualities of clarity & brightness,
which signifies that these angels have in themselves an inextinguishable light,
and that they also perfectly enlighten others.
Seraphim Boutique was established in 1994 by Tanya V. Anderson in Washington
Depot, Connecticut. Tanya relocated to sunny Naples, Florida in December of
2003 and opened Seraphim Boutique at The Colonnade on Fifth, 600 Fifth Avenue
South, in the heart of Naples.
In the celestial hierarchy, Seraphim occupy the top spot, said to be the angels
of love. This is why Tanya named her store Seraphim Boutique. She wanted the
name to suggest what the store is all about: heavenly attire, from gossamer
lingerie, short & sassy skirts to creamy sheer long dresses, just perfect
for a barefoot wedding on the beach.
Tanya was raised in the retail business. Her parents, Vera & Bob Anderson,
were the proprietors of Vera Plumb Bridal’s of Upper Montclair, New Jersey,
which closed after four decades in 1994.
Seraphim Boutique carries informal wedding dresses, daywear, loungewear & accessories.
